Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry is an American model, actress, and beauty pageant contestant who won the 'Miss USA title In 1996, she was named Miss USA. Her mother named her in honor of the actress Ali MacGraw after she watched the film she directed in 1970, 'Love Story'. She was born in Cecilia and was a student at Cecilia High School. As a high school student, she led the cheerleading team and was awarded the title of Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She was just 17 years old. She then won 1996 'Miss Louisiana USA' title and was in the spotlight after securing the title 'Miss America. In 1997 she debuted as an actress in the TV series "Clueless". The show's popularity skyrocketed after she was dubbed "the Doritos Girl" by playing in the 'Doritos' commercial telecast at the 1998 Super Bowl. In 2000 she made her film debut in the movie Beautiful. She's appeared in numerous films and television series over the years.
